Leo Trippi's Highlight
A totally unique property, Chalet Charlie has been made from elements of Nord Noratlas 1950s aircraft. This exceptional residence has plenty of fun features including a hide-away playroom nestled in the aircraft's fuselage and private spa facilites.

The brainchild of four-time world free ski champion and rally driver, Guerlain Chicherit, the Black Diamond residence is 100m from the ski lifts via a mini-funicular and close to the village of Tignes les Brévières. Worth noting is that the funicular access from central Brevieres to the chalet is not available after 18.30. Set over several floors and spanning 600m², Chalet Charlie contains bespoke furniture and features formed from a Nord Noratlas (1950s military aircraft), creating totally unique spaces.
There is a light and spacious open plan living and dining area plus a well-equipped kitchen. The highlight though is the snug with games console which is housed in the aircraft’s nose-cone. There is a huge games room which also doubles up as a children’s bedroom with four single beds.
Chalet Charlie has its own spa area with hot tub, sauna and steam room as well as access to the shared spa facilities of Black Diamond which include an indoor swimming pool with panoramic mountain views, hammam, sauna and relaxation area. There is also a communal playroom, ski lounge and in-house equipment centre as well as an après ski terrace with fantastic views over Tignes les Brévières.
Chalet Charlie is able to accommodate 12 adults and four children across six en-suite bedrooms and a children’s bedroom. For larger groups Charlie can be rented with Tango to form an impressive penthouse spanning nearly 1,200m² with 13 bedrooms.

Part of the Black Diamond Residence in Tignes-les-Brévières, Charlie is 50 metres from the pedestrian funicular which takes you straight to the town centre and ski lifts. The centre of Tignes is just over a 15 minute drive away.
