Just three minutes’ drive from the St Martin 1 gondola, Chalet Zanskar provides a gateway to the largest ski area in the world - Les 3 Vallees. The chalet is situated in the heart of St-Martin-de-Belleville where guests can enjoy an authentic alpine experience away from the hustle and bustle of busy ski resorts. Chalet Zanskar is set across four floors with views overlooking the village and La Cochet mountain from the open-plan living area on the top floor. The property also features spa and wellness facilities including a bespoke sauna and massage area in the traditional farmhouse wine cellar with vaulted curved ceilings.
An impressive four-sided glass fireplace is the focal point of the open-plan living area on the second floor. To one side is the dining area where you can experience traditional Savoyard fare cooked by your chef in the designer kitchen with a breakfast bar. There is a bespoke wooden dining table seating 12 guests and large sliding glass doors which open onto a balcony and flood the space with light. On the other side of the fireplace is the lounge where lofty beams and a vaulted glass window frame the breathtaking mountain views. Soft furnishings have been carefully chosen in neutral tones to create a relaxing yet sophisticated environment.
A cosy cinema room and three super king/twin bedrooms are located on the first floor of the property. The comfortable corner sofa and large on-wall TV in the cinema room create the perfect spot for a family night in. Alternatively, children and teenagers can use this space to hang out while you enjoy a sophisticated meal upstairs. The bedrooms are all bright, spacious and have been carefully decorated with traditional wooden materials and soft lighting. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and access to a balcony where guests can enjoy the enchantment of the surrounding snow-covered mountains.
The remaining two bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the property. The bunk room, which is perfect for children or teenagers, has two bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light and nook for books and charging. The room also features a desk, built-in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. The impressive master bedroom with vaulted ceilings is also located on this floor, featuring built-in wardrobes, a stand alone bath and an en-suite shower room with a separate WC. Additionally, there is a boot room with heated boot racks and a heated cupboard on this floor.
