Part of Chalet Shalimar, Apartment Elena is located in the exclusive Winkelmatten hamlet of Zermatt. The chalet is just an eight-minute walk from the Matterhorn Express gondola. Alternatively, a free electric ski bus stops 140m from the chalet, providing a quick three-minute ride to the gondola. As a ski-in/ski-out area, Winkelmatten allows you to nearly ski back to the chalet via the Moos itinerary run, located just 75m away. The area features a small selection of bars and restaurants, while Zermatt’s vibrant town centre is a 19-minute walk or a short ride by electric taxi. Convenient electric buses also connect Winkelmatten to Zermatt.
