Perched on the Verbier plateau, Chalet 1936 affords unrivalled views of the valley and surrounding peaks from every room. The chalet is only a short stroll from the centre of the village and close to the ski lifts, giving easy access to Verbier’s famous slopes. Combining traditional features with contemporary design, Chalet 1936 provides an indulgent setting for up to 14 guests in seven en-suite bedrooms.

You enter the chalet on the ground floor with a spacious entrance hall leading into an open-plan living and dining area. Traditional alpine features, antique wood beams and oak flooring combine to create a relaxed setting.

Here you can truly unwind, on sofas beside the fireplace or in front of the TV, before enjoying meals around the large dining table which comfortably seats 14 people. Also on this level is a large kitchen and office area with an open stone fireplace.

If relaxation is a priority then you are unlikely to be disappointed at Chalet 1936. An extensive wellness area on the lower ground floor offers an 8 x 3 metre indoor heated pool with swim jets, a hammam, shower room, relaxation and lounge areas as well as a contemporary gym with a fantastic range of modern equipment. There’s even an outdoor cedar hot tub with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

With a spacious yet cosy cinema room, games room with table tennis and a bar area, you are sure to be kept entertained during your stay.

Chalet 1936 is home to seven beautifully designed bedrooms; six doubles which can be configured as twins and a children’s bunk room. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the master bedroom which has a stunning fireplace, roll-top bath, shower room, dressing area and private balcony.

The bunk room is furnished with two sets of fantastic hand-crafted bunks sleeping four. Several of the bedrooms have balcony access and unique copper bathtubs. Other features of Chalet 1936 include a ski room and there is exterior parking for three vehicles. There is also a further twin en-suite bedroom and staff apartment with a separate entrance on the ground floor.

Occupying an enviable location on the tip of Verbier's plateau, Chalet 1936 is a three-minute drive from the Médran lift station and Savoleyres gondola. Place Centrale, with its array of shops, bars and restaurants, is a one-minute drive or 12-minute walk from the chalet. Several shops and restaurants are located within a two-minute walk of 1936.
