About Leo Trippi

Florian is a lifetime entrepreneur who invests in what he loves . As a huge music lover, he started there - building a chain of record stores across Switzerland. In 2005 he moved on to real estate and travel. Florian’s soul belongs to the Swiss mountains. You can often find Florian hiking, climbing and skiing in Zermatt - ultimately there can never be enough powder …. his friends recently gave him a t-shirt saying “Never Summer." Florian has developed some of the coolest chalets in the Swiss Alps through his real estate business Steiger & Cie.

As a multi-jurisdictional qualified lawyer, Auret had his eyes set on becoming a partner in a London based magic circle law firm when he decided that wasn’t the life path he wanted to take. In 2006, Auret founded his own M&A and corporate advisory business, TMA Partners, and started to venture into the entrepreneurial world, which led to him launching Leo Trippi together with Florian. Despite living and loving the Swiss lifestyle, having grown up in South Africa, Africa will always remain in his blood.

Oli moved to Verbier when he was 16 and spent six winters skiing before launching his first travel business, Alpine Guru, in 2011. Alpine Guru was acquired by Leo Trippi in 2016. Within less than 12 months, Oli became the CEO of Leo Trippi and spearheaded its international expansion. Together with Auret and Florian, Oli founded Viadi Group in late 2021. He is regarded as one of the top travel agents globally and has been included in Condé Nast Traveler's Top Travel Specialists in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

From the start of his career in the travel industry, Sergey discovered that his true passion lies in mountain destinations. After visiting several top ski resorts in the Alps during travel exhibitions, work trips, and personal holidays, he became deeply committed to immersing himself in the finer details of ski resorts to best serve his clients. After three intensive years specialising in luxury travel, Sergey joined Leo Trippi in 2019, where he continues to expand his expertise and focus on delivering exceptional ski experiences around the world.

Skiing since he could walk, James’s heart has always been in the mountains and over the years he has been lucky enough to ski all over the Alps, including the 4 Vallées, where he lived in Verbier for three winters. With a background in concierge for UHNW clients combined with his knowledge of everything luxury ski, he joined Leo Trippi in 2020 and has been helping arrange ‘once in a lifetime’ ski trips ever since.

Growing up skiing in Switzerland and exploring European resorts, Guy has always had a deep-rooted love for the mountains. His language degree allowed him to live abroad for a year, ultimately leading him into a luxury travel career. Now approaching his ninth year in the industry, Guy is thrilled to work at Leo Trippi, where he combines his passion for helping clients plan their dream trips with his love for skiing—plus the occasional cheese fondue!

Catherine has worked in the ski industry for over twenty years and has a wealth of experience gained during her work for a luxury chalet operator based in Meribel in Les Trois Vallees. Catherine has wide-ranging experience including chalet staff recruitment, in resort staff training, chalet owner liaison as well as responsibility for concierge and all chalet sales. Catherine met her husband on a ski holiday in St Anton and some of her most memorable holidays have been skiing with her daughters. 

A languages degree, which involved living and studying in both France and Russia, enhanced Jackie’s already strong passion for travel. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe, and had some amazing experiences, including ice-driving in Lapland, taking tea with Toulouse-Lautrec’s great-niece in his childhood home and jumping off an icebreaker into the Baltic Ocean. With over 35 years of experience travelling, from the frozen Arctic wilderness in Sweden to the glorious Italian Dolomites and Swiss Alps, there really aren’t many corners of Europe that Jackie hasn’t explored.

Julia's career as a professional athlete opened doors to extensive travel, and it was after moving to Switzerland that she developed a deep passion for the mountains. The stunning alpine views, the occasional rush of adrenaline, and the peaceful satisfaction after a day on the slopes are just a few reasons why she loves ski holidays. Now, through her work, she is dedicated to sharing these same unforgettable experiences with guests, helping them create their own magical memories in the mountains.

Since his first trip to the mountains at the age of 19, Aleksandr fell in love with the breathtaking scenery and knew he wanted to make it a central part of his life. Equally important to him is his passion for helping others, especially when it comes to creating unforgettable ski vacations. After visiting several European ski resorts and gaining experience in the winter holidays industry, he realised his true calling.

After two years living and working in Whistler, Canada, Emma returned to the UK with her love for the mountains stronger than ever. Though she initially began in customer service in a different industry, she quickly found her way back to a role that allowed her to share her passion for alpine experiences. Emma's familiarity with both North American and European resorts, along with her enthusiasm for curating unforgettable moments, shines through in every holiday she helps design.

Beatrix’s love for skiing began at an early age, growing up skiing across the Alps with her family. Her passion for the mountains and skiing only deepened after she spent a winter in Val d'Isère after school, inspiring her to pursue a career in the ski industry. After completing her degree, Beatrix joined Leo Trippi in 2024, where she now channels her enthusiasm for winter sports and her organisational abilities as a valuable member of the concierge team, helping clients craft exceptional ski holiday experiences.

Serena's passion for the mountains began at the age of 10 when her aunt whisked her off on her first ski holiday. What started as many happy Easter holidays spent exploring the slopes of Val d'Isere and Zermatt has blossomed into a lifelong passion. Serena joined Alpine Guru in 2015 before the company was acquired by Leo Trippi in 2016. She has enjoyed watching the team grow and is excited for the next chapter - whether that's on the slopes or behind the scenes at Leo Trippi!

Lizzie has fond memories of family ski holidays in the French Alps which ignited her passion for mountain holidays and adventure. Over the years she has explored numerous ski resorts across Europe, deepening her enthusiasm for travel. Inspired to transform this passion into a career, Lizzie joined Leo Trippi in 2024, where she combines her organisational skills and love of property as a key member of the Product Team.

Angus’s passion for the mountains and skiing began at an early age on the slopes of the Bavarian Alps. Determined to build a career that aligned with his love for the sport, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, where he could ski after work and immerse himself in the North American ski scene. Since returning to the UK in 2020 and joining Leo Trippi, Angus has reignited his love for European skiing. His favourite resorts include Zermatt and Val d’Isère, where he enjoys the distinct charm and challenging slopes.

Alicia’s love for the mountains has been a lifelong affair, sparked by family holidays at their chalet in the charming French-speaking village of Les Diablerets, Switzerland. Her time spent in the nearby German-speaking resort of Gstaad deepened her fascination with languages, leading her to pursue them at university. After gaining experience working in the Swiss Alps, Alicia joined Leo Trippi, where she now blends her passion for languages and the Alpine lifestyle to help you discover the world’s most luxurious ski holidays.

Born and raised in South Africa, Melanie obtained her cost and management accounting qualification in Stellenbosch.  She joined Leo Trippi in 2014.  She loves outdoor activities, running, hiking and spending time with her family.
